I wrote ~4.5k words about the operating of LLMs, as the theory preface to a new programming series. Here's a little preview of the contents:
Tumblr media
As with many posts, it's written for someone like 'me a few months ago': curious about the field but not yet up to speed on all the bag of tricks. Here's what I needed to find out!
But the real meat of the series will be about getting hands dirty with writing code to interact with LLM output, finding out which of these techniques actually work and what it takes to make them work, that kind of thing. Similar to previous projects with writing a rasteriser/raytracer/etc.
I would be very interesting to hear how accessible that is to someone who hasn't been mainlining ML theory for the past few months - whether it can serve its purpose as a bridge into the more technical side of things! But I hope there's at least a little new here and there even if you're already an old hand.

Blooming Family Part 1 - He Will Come
Pairing: Yautja x Fem!Reader Summary: You were caught three days after you and your son's arrival on earth by an organization called Project Stargazer. Now you both were treated like guinea pigs. No wonder, considering said son was a hybrid of human and Yautja. Cross-posted on AO3: here Warnings: English isn't my first language Word Count: 4,224 Masterlist
⇨ This is based on the scene in the lab where the sedated Yautja-human hybrid is being held captive (movie: "The Predator", 2018). The plot before and after this scene has nothing to do with the fanfic. Either way, I barely remember the movie. I just used the scene for my own scenario.

You had been stupid, so stupid. You should have listened to Mi'ytiar, should have listened to him when he told you to stay on the ship during your stay on Earth while your son went hunting. You had insisted on coming with him, as you desperately wanted to see your home planet again.
Not that you missed it. You loved Mi'ytiar, loved to be his mate, loved your life with him and your son on Yautja Prime.
You had just wanted to leave the ship to get some fresh air and see the full moon, which you couldn't see in your new home, when you suddenly were surrounded by soldiers. You didn't even think about defending yourself, not in your condition. You had let it happen when they grabbed you and put you roughly in one of the black SUVs.
So many questions swirled around in your mind — how did they find you? What about the ship? What did they want with you? Would they hurt you? And what about Akail? Was he hurt?
You hadn't dared to ask the armed men who were in the car with you. They all had looked at you with different emotions on their faces — disgust, curiosity, anger. One of them wore a grin that made your skin crawl.
When they arrived at their base, you were dragged through many corridors and were examined by — and you thanked God for that — female doctors. They took your blood, forced you into a strange white suit, and put you into a sterile room.
Now you sat in a corner, huddled together. The door was in the middle of the wall on the other side of the room. A camera hung in the corner across from you from the ceiling and had an overview of the entire room. It reminded you of an interrogation room with windows to the left and right of the door, which looked like a mirror from the inside but allowed a glimpse into the room from the outside, and a table and two chairs standing in the middle.
You had pulled your legs to your chest as much as your swollen belly would allow and leaned your head sideways against the wall.
It's gonna be okay, you thought to yourself. Everything is going to be fine.
You didn't know if you were trying to calm yourself down or your pup who could sense your agitation and responded to you with kicking. You sat up straight in a cross-legged position, wrapped your arms protectively around your belly, and caressed it soothingly.
Don't worry, little one. We'll be home soon. Your daddy will come and get us out of here. You have no idea how eager we are to meet you.
Not far from you, Sean Keyes greeted Casey Bracket.
"There you are!" He said as soon as Casey stepped out of the elevator. "Welcome, I–"
Before he could continue, Casey walked straight past him to look at the two metal helmets and something that looked like a gun, everything displayed behind thick glass. None of it was human.
"Alien technology." She stated in disbelief. "Is that what you wanted me to see?" Casey's eyes wandered to the other showcases that displayed even more weapons and equipment. "Can I take a better look at it?"
"Ahh." Sean laughed, "But you haven't even seen the main attraction."
Casey tore her gaze from an interesting-looking spear engraved with intriguing carvings and looked up at Sean. He had climbed the few steps that led to a glass wall overlooking a mix of operating room and laboratory, and gestured with his head for her to follow him.
Quickly joining him, they both looked down and into the room. It was occupied by many people who, from their appearance, were scientists. There were guards, eight in total, guarding all four doors. Screens hung on the walls and desks carried computers and strange gadgets.
The only thing that got Casey's complete attention was the table in the middle of the room and especially what was on it.
"Doctor Bracket."
Casey looked away from the creature and at the man who had spoken to her.
"Would you like to meet the Predator?"
Yes, that's exactly what she wanted.
Still processing what she had just seen, she followed Sean Keyes into the decontamination chamber. She was given a suit that looked similar to the ones the scientists were wearing in the laboratory. The decontamination process didn't take long and she quickly slipped into the suit.
"Thanks for coming." The dark-skinned man, Will Traeger, said to Casey as soon as the lab door opened and shook her hand. "I'm sure you have questions."
"If I'm honest, only two." Casey answered and followed the man down the stairs. "Why do you call it the Predator?"
They came to a halt in front of the table the creature was lying on.
"It's a nickname. You know, the data suggests that it tracks its prey, exploits weakness. It seems to, well, enjoy it. It's like a game."
"That's not a Predator. That's a sports hunter."
"Sorry?"
"A Predator kills its prey to survive. I mean, what you're describing is more like a bass fisherman." Casey simply answered, taking a step closer to the table.
"Well, we took a vote. Predator sounds cooler, right?" Will laughed and received approval from the surrounding scientists. "We found him and his ship. He's heavily sedated."
Casey had long stopped listening to him. She was completely absorbed by the creature, or Predator, taking in every inch of it. The physique indicated that it was a male. His height had to be over 2 meters. He had greenish skin that resembled reptilian-like scales. Its head was big and oval in shape. Instead of hair, what appeared to be dreadlocks grew out of it. His mandibles were the most eye-catching feature about him.
Could they be used for defense? And how did the food intake work?
She noticed that even unconscious, he was making a sound that closely resembled a cat's purring.
"You are one beautiful motherfucker." She finally said.
"I'm gonna guess your second question is why you're here."
Casey looked up to Will and signaled him with a nod to continue.
"Our test results yielded something a little… odd."
Sean, standing next to Casey, handed her a device. She looked back and forth between the two men before accepting it. The screen showed a more complex DNA structure than that of a human, without a doubt that of the Predator.
"Is this a joke?" She questioned in disbelief.
"We ran the genome sequence ten times. This specimen has–"
"–human DNA." Casey finished stunned.
"Yeah." Will nodded, "Look, we know about spontaneous speciation. Mostly plants and insects but–"
"But some mammals. The Red Wolf, for example, a hybrid of the coyote and the grey wolf." Sean interrupted him this time.
"It's possibly some form of recombinant technology." Will added.
"I get it. You want to know if someone fucked an alien." Casey summed it up, finally knowing her purpose here.
"Not necessarily."
Casey looked questioningly at Will. "Meaning?"
"Meaning, we have a rough idea. We would just like to know the detailed procedure."
Casey's eyes widened and she looked at him in bewilderment. "You don't seriously expect a woman to procreate with that thing. There's no way that–"
"Oh, there is no need for that." Sean assured her, "Like I already mentioned earlier, we found his ship thanks to his equipment. But not only that."
He turned to the largest screen in the room and nodded to a man who started typing on his computer and turned the screen on. It showed some kind of interrogation room. It wasn't long before Casey spotted a woman sitting cross-legged on the floor, slowly rocking back and forth.
"Who is that?" She asked and inched closer to the screen in curiosity.
"His mother." Sean answered matter-of-factly, folding his hands behind his back.
Casey slowly looked from the screen over to the Predator, then back. "You're kidding me, right?"
"Not at all." Will chuckled. "His DNA matches with hers. Although the father's genetic heritage is more dominant than hers, you can still see differences between this one–" He nodded to the unconscious alien, "–and a homozygous Predator."
"Wow." Casey mumbled and returned her gaze to the screen.
The woman now walked in circles through the room, stroking — and the biologist had to do a double take — her growing stomach.
Holy hell, she was pregnant!
"Wow indeed. And not only that, but her human DNA has been altered to resemble that of the Predator."
"We believe it's a kind of adaptation to the living conditions of his home planet." Sean started, "According to the blood tests, and we did several because we didn't want to believe the results, this woman is over a hundred years old. We think she was born in the early 1900s, although she looks like she's in her mid-twenties."
Casey's mouth fell open, her heart pounding against her rib cage. "I want to meet her."
He nodded and smiled at her. "That was the plan. No one has spoken to her yet, not even the nurse who brought her food or was taking her to the bathroom."
"While science can answer many questions and give us great insight into our being, there are still things that remain unanswered." Will added, "We don't know when she left Earth or how it was possible for her to reproduce with an alien. We don't know how her DNA changed, and because of that, we don't even know who she really is."
Casey nodded. "And you want me to get the answers to those questions from her?"
"Indeed."
Casey was watching you through the one-way window. You were still pacing, one hand supporting your back and the other stroking your stomach in a circular motion. Even though you seemed nervous and scared, you also looked like a proud lioness ready to attack to protect her baby.
"Ready?" Sean asked.
Casey looked briefly at him and nodded.
"Great. We will wait here to watch and listen. In her condition, I doubt she will attempt anything for the sake of her child, but if she does it will only take a second, and security will rush the room."
"Good to know." She mumbled before heading to the door.
With a deep breath, she pushed down the door handle.
You caught that movement in the corner of your eye and turned to the intruder. "What have you done to him?!" You immediately demanded hysterically, growling at her like a wild animal. "Where did you take him? Where did you take my son?"
It was good that Casey was the first to speak to you. Probably no one out there had the slightest decency to treat you like a real person and would have strapped you to a table, too, careless of harm to you or your child.
"They took him to a lab and are holding him there. Nobody hurt him, I swear it." Casey said, raising her hands to show you she meant no harm. "They just want to know more about him and his kind and why he is here, that's all."
You stared at her, softly caressing your belly as you pondered her words.
When there was no reply, Casey continued, "I just want to talk to you. We want to know how you… why you…"
"Why I got knocked up by an alien?" You suggested bluntly.
Casey nodded. "Yes. It's practically unthinkable to come across an alien hybrid and its mother."
"Where I went after his father took me from earth, it's more of a rarity than unthinkable."
Casey took a step forward and hastily asked, "Do you mean you're not the only one? Are there other humans who procreate with them? Are they also studying hybrids and their traits?"
You laughed at her eagerness and walked over to the chair closest to you, sitting down on it. You waved your hand at Casey to do the same, as if you were hinting you were going to cooperate to answer her questions. The biologist glanced back over her shoulder at the reflective window where Sean and Will were watching the conversation. She sat down in the chair opposite of you and looked at you expectantly.
"Before I say another word, I want to see that my son is okay." You demanded, trying to suppress the tremor in your voice, the very first sign of weakness.
Casey turned back to the windows and waited for someone to come through the door. Instead, the reflective surfaces of the windows turned into screens showing one and the same image — the captured Predator, still tied to the table and asleep.
There was a whimper coming from behind her. When she turned back, she saw tears building up in your eyes and one hand pressed to your mouth. It was surreal to Casey for a human to have such an emotional reaction to an alien creature. On the other hand, this was his mother, unbelievable and absurd as it may seem.
You seemed to calm down, your eyes still fixed on the screen. You nodded to yourself before tearing your eyes away to look at Casey. The windows had returned to their normal state.
"We're going to start with some easy questions, okay?"
You nodded again.
"Great. First, I would like to know your name."
“(Y/N) (L/N).” You answered.
"Would it be okay if I call you (Y/N)?"
"I would appreciate it." You said, "It's a nice change from all the other names I've gotten so far."
"What do you mean?" Casey inquired.
"Alien fucker. Alien whore. Desperate little bitch who thought a man's dick isn't enough for her. Nothing I didn't expect from men." You shrugged, "It just proves once again that Yautja males treat their females with far more respect and honor than a human male could ever comprehend."
"Yautja?" Casey asked, leaning forward, arms crossed on the tabletop.
"You call them Predator, but their kind is actually called Yautja." You explained.
Casey nodded and started to play with her fingers, her next question burning on her tongue. "How did you get into this whole thing? How did you get in contact with them?"
You huffed. "It's quite ironic, you know. On the contrary what you may have expected, he saved me."
"Saved you from what?"
"Again, men. Four of them. They had followed me into an alley and tried to…" You had to pause for a second.
Almost 90 years ago, you had been afraid when Mi'ytiar had taken you from Earth to bring you to Yautja Prime. But looking back, that fear hadn't been as great as what you had felt at the thought of what those men would have done to you if he hadn't intervened.
"He protected me from those monsters… my own kind." You let out a humorless laugh. "Yautja take their prey as a trophy after each successful hunt, you know. Not only did he rip their heads off and their spines out, but he also took me. I expected him to hurt me, to keep me as a slave, or… or to do what these men wanted to do to me that day in that alley. I found out later that I was really lucky that he, of all other Yautja, rescued me. It's incredibly rare that one of them takes an interest in a human being. Usually, they kill every last of them. Humans are too weak and too soft, but that's exactly what he loves about me. That's why he kept me alive."
You let out a sigh, considering how much you should reveal about the Yautja culture.
"On the contrary to me, a Yautja female is rough and large, even larger than a male. After all, they are the ones who carry their offspring and ensure the survival of their kind. The males have to fight for dominance, and if the male wins, the female deems him worthy enough to mate and submits to him."
Casey shifted in her seat. "Did you… did he expect the same from you? Did he force you into submission to…?"
"Never." You growled protectively, "He never forced himself onto me. Never. He was more patient and understanding than all the human males I ever met in my life. He treated me like I was the most precious thing he had ever seen. Never did he touch me without my permission."
"Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." Casey soothed you.
She had to be more careful and had to see this whole situation through your eyes — you were separated from your son and held at a facility that was examining you both while you had to worry about your unborn baby.
"Do you want to tell me about your relationship with him? Your, uhm…"
"He is my mate. My Life Mate."
"Life Mate?"
"Female Yautja can mate with multiple males and give birth to their children, but some also choose a permanent mate. You could compare it to one-night stands and marriage, only you can't divorce. It's not called Life Mate for nothing. You are bonded to each other for the rest of your life and they live for hundreds of years."
"Can I know the name of your Life Mate?"
You eyed Casey briefly, looked over her shoulder at the reflective windows, then at the camera in the corner, and then back at her. "His name is Mi'ytiar. He is the leader of his clan."
Casey sat up straight. "They live in clans? Like wolves in packs or horses in herds?"
You nodded. "With similar hierarchy dynamics, yes. There are many clans on their home planet, each living peacefully on their own. Sometimes clans visit each other, hunt together, celebrate together. That's how I found out that I'm not the only human on this planet." You said, "But apparently, I'm the only one who mated a clan leader. Most of them are expected to have a strong successor to take after them and Mi'ytiar, of all Yautja, ended up with a weak little human to bear his pups."
Jackpot, Casey thought.
She finally got to the part that intrigued her the most — how was it humanly possible that you got pregnant, how was it possible for you to carry the child of an alien, and how did it not kill you?
"Since Mi'ytiar has fully committed himself to me, it was up to me to bear his offspring. The Yautja of his clan never dared to say anything. I'm the clan leader's mate, after all. But I noticed it in the way they treated me and looked at me. They knew it wasn't possible for me to carry his children."
You looked down at your baby bump and returned to caress it. It seemed to keep you calm.
"At that point, that fact made me really upset. I got to know their culture and learned everything there was to know about them. I even started learning their language. I fulfill any task assigned to a clan leader's mate. I make my mate happy and proud. But I couldn't give him a child."
You looked up and into Casey's eyes.
"Mi'ytiar is very attentive and he soon noticed that something was upsetting me. Apparently, he was the only one who hadn't thought about his offspring at all." You paused for a second to smile, remembering his reaction when he found out that you wanted to carry his pups. "The second he knew he wanted to keep me around when he took me away from Earth, he injected me with his blood. No matter how many times I've been called fragile and puny, the human immune system can sometimes work wonders. His blood had slowed down my aging and allowed me to survive on his planet. So we visited a healer to finalize my life as his Life Mate."
Your cheeks flushed as you thought of how Mi'ytiar hadn't hesitated to drag you home and how you both had spent several days in your bed, or nest as he called it. There had been hardly a moment when he wasn't inside you. The image of his beautiful mate, his love, carrying his pup in her belly had made him feral.
It hadn't been long before his seed took. The other Yautja had a surprised but satisfied reaction when they saw that their leader was about to become a father. That's when they finally started to treat you like a part of the clan. You had fully proved yourself, proved you could provide for the clan. You were finally one of them.
Akail's birth was hard. It felt like he was tearing you apart from the inside out. But thanks to the injections of Mi'ytiar's blood and the additional help of the tribal healer, your body strengthened enough that you didn't die, even though it felt like it. You were crying and smiling with your mate at your side, holding your little bundle of joy in your arms.
He looked just like his father, no indication that his mother was human. However, his animalistic features were a little softer, difficult to recognize unless you were the mother. While you were being tended to, Mi'ytiar took his son in his arms to proudly introduce him to his clan.
Fondly, you thought back to one moment, a core memory — Mi'ytiar, lying on his side with you snuggled against him, both naked and partly covered in fur, and little Akail, just ten hours old, resting on your chest. At that point, you were so incredibly happy.
It sounded weird and absurd that this was your life and no human could ever understand, but you would never trade it for anything in the world.
"What's the catch?" Casey asked after a while of watching you quietly stroking your belly.
"Huh?" You looked up.
"I don't think you're telling us all this without an ulterior motive. So what's the catch?"
"I want to quench your thirst for scientific knowledge and in return, I hope you will release my son and me. There is no need to keep us here if you get all your answers from me."
Casey started to shift back and forth in her chair. "I don't think that will be possible. There are still things that we–"
"Listen, I have cooperated in the hope you will let me and my son go if you have what you want. You won't like what will happen if we are not soon to be freed."
Casey glanced over her shoulder for what felt like the hundredth time, unsure of what to do or what to say.
"I promised him to contact him every day, you know. My mate." You said, pride permeating your body. "And do you know what it will tell him? The silence?" Your question was obviously rhetorical. "It will tell him that something happened to me and, therefore, also to his son because Akail would rather die fighting for his mother and his father knows that."
Casey gulped. The threat was clear as the day.
"He will come and not alone. Do you really think you stand a chance against them?" You laughed, now more confident. "The human nature is arrogant, thinking they are superior to everyone. Eventually, that will be the reason for your extinction. Your haughty stupidity will be the death of you."
"(Y/N)–" Casey tried, but she was interrupted.
"No, you will listen to me just like you've been doing for the last twenty minutes now. I have lived among them for decades, almost a century. I learned from them, I'm one of them. Stand between a Yautja and their Life Mate and it will end deadly for you. Stand between a Yautja and their Life Mate who's pregnant and I promise you, you will beg for them to kill you."
"(Y/N), there is nothing in my power to help you. I was simply summoned here as an expert to examine this Yautja, your son. I can't–"
"You will. And I'm not just talking to you in this case." Your eyes wandered from her face to the windows and you nodded to the people you assumed to be standing behind the glass, watching you. "I'm talking to them, the ones who have the power. Set me and my son free and I promise you nothing will happen to any of you."
Suddenly, a blaring alarm sounded, startling both Casey and you. Instinctively, you wrapped an arm around your stomach in a protective manner.
"Code Red. Subject Predator is on the loose."
A shuddering sigh of relief left your lips as you slowly began to smile. You knew they couldn't keep Akail immobilized for long.
One of the things he had in common with his father was that he was just as protective over you as he was. He would come to look for you.
Casey had already jumped out of her chair and was talking frantically to the people on the other side of the one-sided window.
You began to talk to your pup again, "Your mei'hswei is coming, sweetling. Soon, the three of us will be back with Daddy."

CONFIDENTIAL LOGISTICS REPORT
DRC, Planning & Evaluation Office, Logistics & Infrastructure Division
Date: [REDACTED]
To: Director [REDACTED]
From: Administrator [REDACTED], Logistics & Infrastructure Division
Subject: Facility Expansion: New Paternity Compound Construction
Executive Summary
This report outlines the ongoing expansion of DRC-operated paternity compounds across several strategic locations nationwide. In response to increasing insemination rates and projected surrogacy demands, we have begun constructing new high-capacity compounds to accommodate more surrogates. These expansions will enable the DRC to streamline the conscription process, optimize surrogacy cycles, and ensure our ability to meet the population sustainability targets outlined for the next fiscal period.
The new compounds focus on enhanced security, specialized medical equipment, and increased surrogacy capacity.
I. Facility Expansion Overview
Strategic Locations and Site Selection
To ensure regional coverage and minimize travel time to detain and inseminated surrogates, the DRC has approved the construction of [REDACTED] new paternity compounds in FEMA Zones 4, 6, 7, and 8. These facilities will be situated in [REDACTED] areas, selected for their proximity to population centers, existing transport infrastructure, and relative isolation, ensuring operational security.
Zone 4: Atlanta, GA
Zone 6: Houston, TX
Zone 7: Omaha, NE
Zone 8: Denver, CO
Each compound is designed to accommodate [REDACTED] surrogates at any given time, with the ability to scale up to [REDACTED] in emergencies. Construction is scheduled for completion within the next [REDACTED] months, with the first inspections set to begin by [REDACTED] this year.
Paternity Compound Design Features:
High-Capacity Paternity Wards: Each compound contains specialized wards designed to manage surrogates carrying up to sedecatuplets (16), with private rooms for those at risk of premature labor.
Enhanced Monitoring Systems: Advanced surveillance and biometric monitoring ensure constant oversight and swift response to emergencies.
Security Enhancements: Reinforced containment protocols, secure access points, and patrol routes have been established to prevent unauthorized access and ensure surrogate compliance.
II. Specialized Equipment and Medical Support
Given the unique demands and expectations placed on surrogates, each paternity compound will be equipped with advanced medical infrastructure to ensure the safety and effective management of extreme weight gain, reduced mobility, and increased risks of organ stress.
Key Equipment and Infrastructure:
Reinforced Support Beds: Traditional hospital beds have proven insufficient for surrogates carrying high multiples, whose pregnancies can lead to total weight gains exceeding 200 lbs. Each ward will feature reinforced, adjustable support beds capable of accommodating extreme weights. These beds will be equipped with pressure-relief systems to minimize discomfort and reduce the risk of bedsores for near-immobile surrogates.
“I hate that I’m here! But… all I have is this bed! I can’t move, I can’t breathe half the time, but at least I have a fucking memory foam mattress!” - Surrogate S118-176-J, 27 days pregnant with decatuplets (10)
Automated Feeding & Hydration Systems: Automated systems will ensure continuous nutrition and hydration to support surrogates with reduced mobility. Given the caloric intake requirements for such pregnancies, these systems will monitor and adjust fluid and nutrient delivery, reducing the need for frequent staff intervention.
“I’m basically just a machine now, aren’t I? They hook me up, pump me full of these stupid protein shakes, and keep me breathing so I can keep carrying these bowling ball-sized kids. It’s disgusting!” - Surrogate S117-138-N, 18 days pregnant with quattuordecatuplets (14)
Custom Mobility Aids: Custom-designed lift systems and mobility aids will be integrated into each ward to facilitate the movement of surrogates. These devices will allow for safe repositioning, transfers to specialized birthing chairs, and support during transport.
“I don’t know how they expect us to move with this much weight on us. Even standing feels like my legs are going to snap. Those lifts? They’re humiliating... but without them, I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed at all.” - Surrogate S120-494-P, 30 days into a sedecatuplets (16) pregnancy
Advanced Fetal Monitoring: Each compound will have real-time ultrasound and biometric monitoring stations to track fetal development. Given the accelerated gestational period, these systems will continuously update fetal positioning, size, and viability, enabling rapid response to complications.
"It’s terrifying. Knowing how big they are, how many there are… they’re not coming out normal. When I finally pop them all out, they’ll get better care than I ever did!" - Surrogate S119-667-N, 22 days pregnant with hendecatuplets (14)
Dedicated Obstetrics & Neonatal Care Units: Immediate neonatal care is essential, and each compound will include state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) to support newborns. Advanced incubators and respiratory support systems will ensure the survival of even the most premature babies.
"They always tell me how important it is to ensure the babies survive, even if I don’t. I get it, I do… but knowing there’s a whole team of people ready to take over the second I’m gone? It’s like they’ve already decided how this ends." - Surrogate S117-856-M, 8 days pregnant with tridecatuplets (13)
Pain Management and Sedation Systems: Surrogates will experience extreme discomfort and physical strain. Each paternity ward will be equipped with integrated IV pain management systems, allowing for both localized and systemic pain relief. Sedation protocols can be initiated remotely if a surrogate's distress becomes vocal, ensuring they can not incite civil disorder.
“I’m so big I can’t even see my dick, which is now buried under all these babies and fat. I’d be lying if I said the meds didn't help to blitz me out of my mind... a caring them I'm a gigantic incubator now.” - Surrogate S119-461-L, 11 days pregnant with dodecatuplets (12)
Future Equipment Developments: Research teams are exploring next-generation mobility aids, including exoskeleton support harnesses, to provide mobility assistance for late-term surrogates. These innovations aim to improve surrogate survival to deliver full-term pregnancies. Once available, prototypes will be tested in select compounds.
III. Expansion Strategy: Future Projections and Scaling
Projected Surrogacy Demand: With the increase in insemination rates, each compound is expected to handle up to [REDACTED] inseminations per month once fully operational. This translates to a need for approximately [REDACTED] newborns annually to meet population sustainability targets. Our current projections indicate that these numbers are achievable.
IV. Conclusion and Recommendations
The successful construction and operation of these new paternity compounds are critical to effectively maintaining the DRC’s ability to enforce surrogacy mandates. Our specialized equipment and infrastructure improvements will ensure we meet demands while preserving control over our surrogate.

Subject: RE: Facility Expansion: New Paternity Compound Construction
Dear Mr. [REDACTED],
I’ve reviewed the latest progress report on the new Paternity Compounds, and I must commend your team on the impressive strides made thus far, even with the ambitious timeline we’ve set.
I have been particularly interested in the improvements to our birthing suites. As you are well aware, managing multiple pregnancies presents unique challenges.
We are entering a critical phase. I want to emphasize that these upcoming births will set a precedent for all future operations. The successful use of these new facilities will allow us to demonstrate that our methods ensure the next generation's survival and that we can handle the demands without sacrificing efficiency or outcomes.
I look forward to seeing the first results when the initial surrogates reach full term and the birthing suites are fully operational.
Keep up the excellent work, and do not hesitate to reach out if additional resources or support are needed to ensure success.
Regards, Director [REDACTED]

The Dimensional Layers
Tumblr media
The universe is believed to consist of multiple spiritual dimensions, each vibrating at different frequencies. These realms house various beings, from divine entities to restless spirits. While interpretations differ among mystics, shamans, and occultists, here’s an overview of commonly recognized dimensions and their inhabitants.
The Physical Realm
What It Is: The material world where humans, animals, and nature exist. This is the realm of tangible matter and linear time.
Beings Here: Humans, animals, plants, minerals.
The Ethereal Layer

Decoding Fox News:
Last week the folks at Fox twisted themselves into knots to defend the actions of a maniacal corrupt billionaire hellbent on destroying entire government agencies without congressional oversight. They would never admit that their glorious leader, Donald J. Trump, was just a puppet for Elon Musk, a South African immigrant with extremist political leanings. During one of the celebrations involved with Donald J. Trump’s inauguration Musk performed a hand gesture that looked suspiciously like a Nazi salute. When Musk was criticized for it instead of apologizing or clarifying what he meant he posted several inappropriate jokes about Nazis on his social media platform X. Musk also enthusiastically backed an extremist staunchly anti-immigrant political party in Germany - the Alternative for Germany Party also known as AfD. At a recent rally for AfD Musk said, in an apparent reference to the Nazi era, "frankly too much of a focus on past guilt and we need to move beyond that." Musk has also publicly supported an extremist party in the UK. He’s also retweeted dozens of extremists on X (Twitter) as well as promoted several racist conspiracy theories. Openly pro-Nazi profiles have flourished on the X platform since Musk acquired it. Of course, no one on Fox News brought up Musk’s extremist political leanings. His actions to slash and burn entire government agencies were framed as saving money for American tax payers. [...]
Trump rewarded his benefactor with a position to helm the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, a task force set up by the executive branch.
What is DOGE?
DOGE was created via an executive order on January 20, 2025
It is a task force not an official government agency
Elon Musk is a special government employee
This status means he is not required to file a public financial disclosure
He did not need to have a confirmation hearing by the House or Senate
This is no mechanism to prevent Musk from interfering with an agency that might benefit one of his six companies.
Musk is essentially policing himself.
Musk has billions of dollars of federal contracts with this companies SpaceX and Tesla.
DOGE seems to mirror many of the proposals in Project 2025
DOGE faces several lawsuits meant to limit its power
What Has DOGE Done So Far
Attempted to completely destroy USAID
Musk called the agency a criminal organization
Musk requested to cut off all payments to USAID four days into the Trump admin.
President Trump issued an executive order suspending all U.S. foreign assistance.
The Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a stop-work order for the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Dozens of USAID’s top leaders were placed on immediate leave
Hundreds of employees have been let go.
The USAID website was taken down
The sign on the building USAID operated in has been covered up.
Offered a buyout to federal employees
Ended all remote work for federal employees
Claimed to have found fraud in various agencies - provided no evidence of fraud
Musk has claimed payments from Health and Human Services to various groups around the country are illegal.
DOGE employees gained access to the Department of Treasury payment systems
A federal judge blocked DOGE from accessing them.
Decoding Fox News has an excellent article on Fox “News” shilling for Elon Musk and DOGE.

🇹🇷🔥 Turkish Air Force - F-4E 2020 Terminator
The F-4E 2020 Terminator represents a significant leap forward in the capabilities of the Turkish Air Force. This comprehensive upgrade enhances the venerable F-4E Phantom II with modern Turkish-made weapons systems, showcasing Türkiye’s commitment to self-reliance and advanced military technology.
Background
With a storied history dating back to the 1960s, the F-4E Phantom II has been a pivotal player on the global stage of air combat. Serving multiple nations and seeing numerous conflicts, the Phantom carved out its place in aviation history as a versatile and rugged aircraft. Türkiye’s decision to upgrade this aircraft stems from a strategic imperative to leverage existing assets while infusing them with cutting-edge technology to maintain relevance in modern aerial warfare. The 2020 Terminator program is the Turkish Air Force’s ambitious initiative to retrofit these fighters with state-of-the-art systems.
Strategic Importance
The ability to exert air superiority and conduct precision strikes is paramount in a region marked by dynamic security challenges. The F-4E 2020 Terminator’s enhanced capabilities contribute significantly to deterrence, and the demonstration of Türkiye’s advancing aerospace industry serves both a strategic and diplomatic purpose.
Upgrade Overview
The 2020 Terminator upgrade, realized by Turkish Aerospace Industries in collaboration with ASELSAN, constitutes a multifaceted improvement over the aircraft’s original design. It touches every aspect of the aircraft’s systems, bringing its avionics, armaments, and electronic warfare systems into the 21st century.
Avionics:
The modernized multi-mode pulse Doppler radar extends the aircraft’s detection range, allowing it to lock onto and engage targets from greater distances. Integrating a Hands-On Throttle-And-Stick (HOTAS) system enhances pilot control, minimizing response time during high-stakes manoeuvres. Color Multifunctional Displays (MFDs) replace outdated gauges, providing pilots with real-time data visualization for improved situational awareness.
Armament:
The Terminator’s weapons suite has been revolutionized with a mixture of Western and indigenous munitions. Long-standing armaments like the AIM-9X Sidewinder are joined by Türkiye’s own precision-guided munitions, such as the SOM cruise missile, capable of striking strategic land and sea targets with formidable accuracy. The UAV-230, a domestic innovation, represents the pinnacle of Türkiye’s missile development, offering supersonic ballistic delivery of a range of warhead types over substantial distances. The BOZOK, MAM-C, MAM-L, and Cirit missiles exemplify Türkiye’s expertise in laser guidance and smart munition technology, enabling the Terminator to engage and defeat a broad spectrum of target profiles with unerring precision.
Electronic Warfare:
To contend with the contemporary battlefield’s electronic warfare environment, the F-4E 2020 Terminator incorporates an advanced Electronic Support Measures (ESM) system for rapid threat identification and an Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) suite to confound hostile tracking systems. Moreover, chaff and flare dispensers have been integrated to provide decoys against incoming missile threats, enhancing the aircraft’s survivability in hostile airspace.
Operational Capability:
The F-4E Phantom II, transformed by these integrated systems, emerges as a multirole platform capable of dominating beyond-visual-range air-to-air engagements and precision ground-attack missions. It can operate in complex electronic warfare environments and deliver various ordnances based on mission requirements, making it a flexible asset in the Türkiye Air Force’s inventory.
Significance:
The F-4E 2020 Terminator project is a hallmark of Türkiye’s aerospace ambition and its push toward defence autonomy. By retrofitting and modernizing its Phantoms, Türkiye maximizes the value of its existing fleet while also establishing a foundation for future indigenous aircraft development projects.
Munitions Details:
The advanced, indigenous Turkish weaponry integrated into the F-4E 2020 Terminator underlines a significant shift toward self-reliance in defence technologies. Each munition type brings unique capabilities that enhance the platform’s lethality:
UAV-230: A domestically-developed ballistic missile, this supersonic weapon delivers high-precision strikes at long ranges, challenging enemy defences with its speed and reduced radar cross-section.
BOZOK: The versatility of this laser-guided munition makes it ideal for engaging both stationary and moving targets with high precision, ideal for close air support.
MAM-C/L: These smart micro munitions are designed for tactical flexibility, allowing for precision targeting in complex engagement scenarios, from anti-armour operations to counter-insurgency roles.
Cirit: A highly accurate laser-guided missile system designed for low collateral damage, Cirit is adept at striking soft and lightly armoured targets with pinpoint accuracy.
SAGE Munitions: TUBITAK SAGE, Türkiye’s leading defence research and development institute, has contributed a range of munitions enhancing the Terminator’s operational capabilities across various domains.
Conclusion:
The upgraded F-4E 2020 Terminator is a testament to Türkiye’s determination to retain a competitive edge in aerospace and defence technologies. The integration of modern avionics, armaments, and electronic warfare capabilities ensures the aircraft’s continued relevance in modern air combat, and its presence in the skies serves as a deterrent in a strategically complex region.

The rusted door to the old laboratory slammed open; a flurry of paperwork that previously littered the floor took to the air in response. Boots, mud stricken and wet, stomped their way inside before coming to an abrupt stop. Drenched from head to toe, the man pulled a deep breath from the air and willed himself to continue down the stairway before him.
“Not long now, just a little further.” He labored.
His muscles strained; they cried for the body cast haphazardly over his shoulder to be put down— but the scientist persisted.
The longer that girl remained in his arms, the less chance she had of living.
He shifted her weight; the body rolled further over his shoulder while a lifeless hand graced his back in a limp sway.
“You can do this, Christian. This is everything we worked for. This is your only chance,” he panted aloud.
The metal door clicked shut behind him.
The sound, like a starter gun, triggered a race against every instinct he had.
He launched himself down the looming staircase.
Each step was as agonisingly painful as the last, a sharp grunt tearing from his throat with every movement.
Seven dim lights blurred at the edges of his vision as he descended, his resolve forcing him onwards, his mind buzzing—thrumming— growing more feverish by the second.
Soon enough the secondary door came into view. With a crash, it swung open wide to reveal the dingy laboratory Christian called home.
He rushed inside, then grimaced at the sight—
home was a mess.
Previous false promises of cleaning echoed in the scientist's mind as he laid the girl gently on an operating table, reaching to grab a nearby IV stand.
“This is no place for an operation. Why now? Why do you come to me at a time like this?”
The man whispered to the girl, casting a glance to the cluttered table on his left.
A look of repulsion followed.
The ordering of instrument trays, pushed off as tomorrow’s task time and time again, left him with only one alternative: the desk. This realisation was met with a low grunt, and after reaching over the mess to grab a bag of sodium chloride from the shelf behind, he secured it to the stand.
Christian paused, searched the girl for a vein, then secured an IV. Then with a staggered breath, he commenced the routine which he had practiced in preparation so many times before.
The man scurried about the lab and collected any vial, instrument and sterile material he could get his hands on— then set them under one arm, rushing towards the filing cabinet. With one quick tug, it flew open. Yet he didn’t need to sort through each file; the paper he needed rested haphazardly atop the rest from frequent— incessant— revisions.
He grasped it in his shaky hands.
With a dry swallow the man returned to the workbench, his eyes leering over the mess with a disgusted scowl. He then turned towards the girl, debating something for a moment, before placing the items shoved under each arm on the end of her operating table. Letting out a harsh grunt, he shuffled their placing, making sure to keep it far away from the red liquid pooling at the stump of her missing arm. It would be a compromise of sanitary regulations to rest them there, but It was better than the alternative; the revolting workspace in front of him.
He needed to fix his desk quickly.
Turning back towards the bench, the sight before him made his skin crawl; dull eyes danced over each cigarette butt dropping cancerous ash, each coffee cup teeming with life, each rotting take-out box dissolving and crumpling into piles. He felt the disgust in himself rise, and in a mere moment each revolting object came crashing to the ground, sporadically scattered across the lab like a disgusting art piece.
In their place lay a lone sanitary sheet and a promise to be better.
Ash crinkled and grated underneath the plastic as each instrument was then meticulously placed upon it. Meanwhile, the maddening static that had been simmering within his mind slowly began to settle.
Christian shuddered.
This was the beginning.
He turned to the girl, glancing over the papers laid on the operating table then reached out a hand, tentatively taking them in his grasp.
He intended to begin, to make a start, beat this ever fading time limit.
But he couldn’t concentrate. Because moral quandaries begged at the verge of his psyche.
Christian looked over to the girl, her breathing growing shallower by the second.
“If I had not found you, you would be dead already.”
He muttered, extending a trembling finger to tuck (h/c) strands away from her eyes. His babblings continued relentlessly in an attempt to convince his inner self that what he was doing was ethical.
That he wasn’t a monster.
“The medics wouldn’t have gotten to you in time.”
They may not have, but Christian never bothered to call.
His voice hitched. His grip hardened. The static returned with a vengeance.
“You have to understand, I tried, I tried to find another. I wanted consent. But it was met with disdain, inquiries. I was— I was on the verge of giving in.”
He swallowed, before clearing his throat.
“... until I found you, against that tree. You must be here for a reason. You’re saving me—no, you want to save me. From what? You’ll never know. But right now, I have to trust that you came here for something.” He stepped back and took a deep breath before posing a question.
“Even if you did not, even if you were here by… coincidence. You know this is your only option, correct?”
It was almost as if he expected an answer in return. Yet the man was met with a dull silence— other than the shallow breathing of the girl laying still on the gurney.
Christian’s heart beat in his chest.
The white noise lessened once more, and he nodded his head softly as if responding to a hidden answer.
“Then it’s decided.”
Newly satisfied, the man glanced down at the research paper’s title.
The title glared back, causing his heart to ricochet out of his chest in excitement.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX - An overview of Operation V
In the alternate history presented in Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX, the events leading up to September 18th, 0079 were largely identical to the history of the Universal Century as it is conventionally known.
When presented with evidence that the Principality of Zeon was developing new weapons systems, the Earth Federation initially dismissed them as nothing but "toy robots". After suffering heavy losses at the hands of these new Mobile Suits however, the Federation quickly began pooling resources and manpower into its own Mobile Suit development program, known as Operation V or the RX Project.
The RX Project consisted of three types of Mobile Suit, each intended to compliment the others:
The RX-75 Guntank - A long-range weapons platform with a heavy focus on artillery and indirect-fire support. The machine featured a pair of massive railguns, as well as a pair of four-tube missile launchers for mid-range engagements. A unique feature of the GquuuuuuX Guntank is the bottom-mounted tracks on the railguns which allow the unit's arms to slide up and down to function as a crane. By UC 0085(GqX), the Guntank frame has largely been repurposed for civilian and industrial applications. While it's unconfirmed if the Guntank made use of the Core Block system, it's more than likely to share that feature with its mainline Universal Century counterpart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The RX-77 Guncannon - A mid-range platform with an emphasis on direct fire support. The machine was equipped with a pair of high-output beam cannons in its back, as well as a beam rifle for use at mid-to-close range. This Mobile Suit also made use of the Core Block system, allowing its cockpit to function as an escape craft. The Guncannon was also equipped with a series of hardpoints capable of mounting optional equipment. In a departure from its mainline Universal Century counterpart, the cannons on its back were changed from projectile-based cannons to beams. Notably, this Mobile Suit participated in the first MS v. MS combat in history, which turned out to be rather anticlimactic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The RX-78-1 Gundam - A highly versatile platform intended mainly for close-range combat, and the centerpiece of the RX Project. The unit was equipped with a beam rifle as its primary armament, with beam sabers mounted on its backpack for melee engagements. Optionally, the unit could also be equipped with a Hyper Bazooka, a mobile-suit sized rocket launcher. The Gundam was also built with hardpoints for optional equipment, and made use of the Core Block system.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The RX-78-2 Gundam - A refinement of the original prototype, the RX-78-2 featured an updated color scheme and a number of minor changes. It would come to be known as the "White Gundam". This machine would be captured by Maj. Char Aznable during a raid on Side 7, and be reverse-engineered by Principality of Zeon. This Mobile Suit also participated in the first MS v. MS combat in history, which - again - turned out to be rather anticlimactic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition to these Mobile Suits, the RX Project also included a carrier equipped with facilities specifically designed around them. This carrier would be called the Pegasus. This ship would also be captured by Maj. Char Aznable during the raid on Side 7. In another departure from its mainline Universal Century counterpart (and perhaps a nod to the Gundam novels), the ship is simply called the Pegasus, rather than White Base.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The above machines were designed by Ikuto Yamashita for the 2025 anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, and by Kunio Okawara for the 1979 anime Mobile Suit Gundam.
This is part one of a series on GQuuuuuuX's alternate history MS designs! Part 2 will be released whenever I get around to it! (Hopefully soon!)

A-Café (Update #25) - Community Discussion
Good morning everyone! I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I'm finally back with another community update. In the first part, I'll be giving a brief overview of where we're at in terms of project progress. Then, in the second half, we'll discuss a new development in app accessibility.
Without further ado, let's begin!
1) Where are we at in the project currently?
A similar question was asked in the A-Café discord recently, so I figured I'd include my response here as well:
Right now we’re reworking the design of A-Café, both visually and architecturally. The initial planning and design phase of the project wasn’t done very thoroughly due to my inexperience, so now that I’m jumping back into things I want to ensure we have a solid prototype for usability testing. For us that means we’ve recently done/are doing a few things:
analyzing results from the old 2022 user survey (done)
discussing new ideas for features A-Café users might want, based on the 2022 user survey
reevaluating old ideas from the previous app design
making a new mock-up for usability testing
Once the mock-up is finished, I plan on doing internal testing first before asking for volunteer testers publicly (the process for which will be detailed in an upcoming community update).
2) Will A-Café be available for iOS and Android devices?
Yes! In fact, the first downloadable version of A-Café may no longer be so device-specific.
What do I mean by that? Well, in the beginning, the plan for A-Café was to make two different versions of the same app (iOS and Android). I initially chose to do this because device-specific apps are made with that device's unique hardware/software in mind--thus, they have the potential to provide a fully optimized user experience.
However, I've since realized that focusing on device-specific development too soon may not be the right choice for our project.
Yes, top-notch app performance would be a big bonus. But by purely focusing on iOS and Android devices for the initial launch, we'd be limiting our audience testing to specific mobile-users only. Laptop and desktop users for example, would have to wait until a different version of the app was released (which is not ideal in terms of accessibility).
Therefore, I've recently decided to explore Progressive Web App development instead.
[What is a Progressive Web App?]
A Progressive Web App (or PWA) is "a type of web app that can operate both as a web page and mobile app on any device" (alokai.com)
Much like a regular mobile app, a PWA can be found through the internet and added to your phone's home screen as a clickable icon. They can also have the ability to work offline and use device-specific features such as push-notifications.
Additionally, due to being web-based applications, PWAs can be accessed by nearly any device with a web browser. That means regardless of whether you have an iOS or Android device, you'd be able to access the same app from the same codebase.
In the end, a PWA version of A-Café should look and act similarly to an iOS/Android app, while also being accessible to various devices. And, due to having only one codebase, development of PWAs tends to be faster and be more cost-effective than making different versions of the same app.
To be clear, I haven't abandoned the idea of device-specific development entirely. We could launch iOS/Android versions of A-Café in the future if demand or revenue end up being high enough. But as of right now, I don't believe doing so is wise.
[What Does this Mean for me as a User?]
In terms of app installation and user experience, not much should hopefully change. I'd like to have A-Café available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
There will also be the option of searching for A-Café via your device's web browser, and then installing it on your home screen (iOS devices can only do so using Safari). We will likely rely on this method until we can comfortably ensure user access to A-Café on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
-------------
And that's it for now! Thank you for reading this latest community update. For more insight into the development process, consider joining the A-Café discord. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this post, we would love to hear your input in the comments below. See you later!

Violet Cheetah V
Tumblr media
Overview
The Violet Cheetah is not a new 'Mech. Instead, it is a conversion kit of the Iron Cheetah. Much of the armor geometry is redesigned and the weapon distribution is shifted.
Capabilities
The Violet Cheetah is primarily a generalist 'Mech designed for operation in command units. The ER PPC of this 'mech allows it to reach out and punch holes in armor while the ER medium lasers provide it some brawling ability. An LB 10-X autocannon rounds out the offensive completement. Providing utility to the Violet Cheetah is a quadruple threat of a C3i computer, a targeting computer, an Angel ECM system, and finally a Bloodhound Active Probe. These systems, when crosslinked to other 'Mechs in a unit, permit it to sniff out the enemy and enable pack hunter tactics. A laser AMS on the left arm finalizes the defensive armament. Included in the conversion pack is a full set of jumpjets allowing for 90 meters of movement.
Deployment
The Violet Cheetah is only known to operate with the Jaguar's Shadow independent drop cluster, who originated the design, though other elements of Clan Smoke Jaguar, most prominently Khan Prohaska Moon, have expressed interest in the design.
History
Produced as a refit kit for the Iron Cheetah OmniMech in 3153 during Operation TOUCHDOWN, the Violet Cheetah was designed and named by Star Colonel Katrina in honor of her lover and abtakha Violet Marigold, who was killed in the initial combat drop onto Helios.
Variants
There are two known variants of the Violet Cheetah conversion kit. The V type mounts an Angel ECM and a Bloodhound Active Probe. The M type exchanges the Angel and Bloodhound for the Clan equivalents of standard Active Probe and ECM systems, while using the saved weight and space to increase the amount of ammunition for the LB 10-X.
Notable MechWarriors
Star Colonel Katrina Moon: the product of an experimental Clan Smoke Jaguar sibko that attempted to replicate the results of the Totem Warrior project, Katrina was present for the Battle of Huntress in 3060 as a young sibcadet. Evacuated from the planet and joining the nascent Fidelis, Katrina would go on to participate in numerous secret raids on enemies of the Republic of the Sphere as part of their campaign of false flag operations. By 3153, as part of the recently reconstituted Clan Smoke Jaguar, and after winning the presdigious Moon Bloodname, Katrina would be tapped to lead a Fidelis-inpsired independent drop cluster, the Jaguar's Shadows. It was with this unit that she deployed to Helios as part of Operation TOUCHDOWN.

"Fogbow" & "Fogbow Seen Off the Back Deck" were shot aboard the Okeanos Explorer as part of the Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition series:
A fogbow seen over the fantail of NOAA Ship during the transit to the first dive site at the start of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition.
NOAA Ocean Exploration published the images (with 200+ others) to the project's online gallery. Also see the Expedition Overview & additional project docs/datasets like Okeanos Explorer (EX2206): Voyage to the Ridge 3 (ROV and Mapping):
Operations during this 28-day expedition included the completion of 9 successful ROV exploration dives in the vicinity of the Azores, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge south of the Azores, and Puerto Rico. ROV dives were conducted in water depths ranging from 250 m to 6000 m for a total of 41 hours of bottom time. EX-22-06 also collected 56,769 square kilometers of seafloor bathymetry and associated water column data using an EM304 multibeam sonar. All data associated with this expedition have been archived and are publicly available through the NOAA Archives.
Somewhere along way, the gallery linked me to Fae Sapsford’s blog post about high seas governance. She’s a Marine Research Fellow at Sargasso Sea Commission & pulled this graphic for her post:

Reworked Group #8: Amadeus Syndicate
POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING: Viewer discretion is advised due to references to human experimentation, SA, and kidnapping.
Overview
The Amadeus Syndicate was formed by Manfrida Amadeus after she established a strong alliance with the Chief of the Regular Army and President Marx. Oghma introduced her to President Marx, who was looking to collaborate with a highly skilled scientist to enhance military and technological profits. Doctor Amadeus and President Marx initially believed that the Chief of the Regular Army would disapprove of a new alliance with a notorious woman of science, but he readily accepted it as he was in desperate need of additional support for military advancement. With substantial funding from the Regular Army and President Marx's defence contract business, they were able to establish themselves as a financially successful organisation. They served as the scientific and medical branch of the Regular Army due to their extensive knowledge of various sciences and advanced medical equipment. They proved to be a promising opportunity for upcoming scientists and those who had been unfairly dismissed from their jobs, making it easy for them to hire new employees eager to work with the Amadeus Syndicate.
Many banks invested in the organisation after it gained fame through its various technological gadgets, weaponry, and war machines as well as its significant contributions to the fields of science, medicine, and technology. These banks provided further financial stability by offering them their own secret accounts, an opportunity that Doctor Amadeus seized. As a result, they were able to own multiple banks around the world, becoming a very wealthy company.
They significantly advanced the military machines and operations of the Regular Army, becoming known as the pioneers of the Super Vehicle line following their joint discovery of the Golden Slug. They conducted numerous scientific and technological experiments on behalf of the Regular Army, the most notable of which is the esper super soldier program, which experiments with psionic energy to create inhumanly advanced troops. Surprisingly, they're responsible for creating the Conference on International Cyber Terror Countermeasures within the Earth Federation as they possess a thorough understanding of technology and the issues that cyber terrorism causes.
However, behind the backs of the Regular Army, they managed numerous illegal and questionable projects, ranging from the illicit acquisition of Tuatha Dé Danann technology to the development of a sentient bioweapon. They conducted mutation experiments on carefully selected innocent Regular Army troops, transforming them into Mutated Soldiers. By leveraging the genetic traits of these Mutated Soldiers and integrating them with salvaged Martian bioengineering technology and rocks containing abnormal levels of radiation from the temporary landing of the Monoeyes UFO, Danu, they engineered a zombie plague. They also strengthened their paramilitary forces by contracting pirates and the Phantom Strike, ensuring they had access to reliable mercenary services.
They're responsible for desecrating ancient Egyptian tombs, triggering widespread mummy outbreaks to record the curses of each pyramid and harvest the mummification breath of the mummies for bioweapon purposes. Additionally, they conducted secret nuclear testing on Pallas Island and rigorous scientific experiments on the plant life and insects inhabiting the Oro Sol Ruins, leading to the creation of numerous mutated creatures, such as the Man Eaters and Flying Killers. During investigations in the Arctic to mine for gems and minerals and uncover more Tuatha Dé Danann technology, they inadvertently reanimated the Sasquatches, freeing them from their icy prison, which had remained intact since the Ice Age.
Three months before the Great Morden War, Nadia's unprecedented betrayal and word about Marco's sexual assault would lead to the untimely downfall of the Amadeus Syndicate. The Regular Army uncovered their hidden secrets and severed their alliance, igniting a fierce battle aimed at dismantling the Amadeus Syndicate by destroying the Amadeus Mainframe Base. However, with the support of the Ptolemaic Army and access to far superior technology, the Amadeus Syndicate managed to effortlessly push back. This battle proved detrimental to the Regular Army, resulting in significant losses of soldiers and war machines, which gave the Rebel Army an opportunity to easily overpower them once the Great Morden War began. The Amadeus Syndicate was able to quickly recover, thanks to Ptolemaios' mutual assistance and the substantial funds stored in their global banks.
After the Great Morden War and General Morden was freed from imprisonment, the Rebel Army lost a significant portion of their funding and was largely defeated by the Regular Army. Originally, General Morden intended to negotiate with Rootmars, but he quickly recalled his meeting with Doctor Amadeus and decided it would be a brilliant idea to form a triple alliance, relying on the vast wealth of the Amadeus Syndicate to rebuild his army. Since the formation of the alliance between the Rebel Army, Amadeus Syndicate, and Pipovulaj, Doctor Amadeus has made an effort to supply her allies with mercenaries, scientific assistance, and advanced weaponry and vehicles.
The Amadeus Syndicate is a highly advanced paramilitary organisation and rogue scientific corporation. Their goals are idealistic in nature, focusing on better understanding the forces that govern the universe, regardless of the cost. They aim to evolve human knowledge, free themselves from mortal limitations, and reset civilization by altering the world's timeline with Doctor Amadeus serving as their goddess. To achieve this without legal constraints, they rely on the resources of General Morden, Ptolemaios, and Rootmars, allowing them to freely test their prototypes and conduct experiments.
Insignia
It features a white circle outlined in electric blue. At the bottom, there's a rose gold ribbon displaying the Latin motto "Scientia est omnia" ("Science is everything" in English), rendered in teal. In the centre of the circle, the astronomical symbol for 99942 Apophis features the serpent god Apep in bluish-black with a golden star.
Uniforms
Mercenaries
Low-ranking mercenaries wear a Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS) featuring a silver-grey, baby blue, and poppy red camouflage pattern. They don navy blue army cargo pants, along with field tunics that have a seven-button gilt-brass front closure. They wear French blue Enhanced Combat Helmets (ECH), manatee driving gloves, and a carnelian armband displaying the Amadeus Syndicate insignia. Their footwear consists of manatee combat boots, and they wear a leather utility belt equipped with a holster for their handgun, a sheath for their combat knife, and a French blue waist pack that holds their walkie-talkie. They carry light blue teal rucksacks that contain various supplies, including energy bars, sample collection kits, rope, thermal vision X-ray goggles, a portable tablet for recording essential intelligence, and mechanical, engineering, lockpicking, and hacking tools.
High-ranking mercenaries wear an Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) featuring a silver-grey, old lavender, and rose taupe. They don greyish-purple cargo pants with two additional pockets on the back, paired with field tunics featuring an eight-button golden front closure. Their headgear includes lilac Enhanced Combat Helmets (ECH), and they wear English lavender tactical gloves with silvery purple padding and a rose taupe armband that displays the Amadeus Syndicate insignia. Their footwear consists of English lavender paratrooper boots with spiked soles, and they sport a leather utility belt equipped with a holster for their handgun, a sheath for their machete, and a lilac waist pack that holds their walkie-talkie. A purplish-black bandolier encircles their waist above the belt, containing either syringes filled with deadly acid or smoke bombs. While they carry the same rucksacks and supplies as low-ranking mercenaries, theirs is in a dark rose colour.
Mercenaries serving as sharpshooters are required to carry rifles equipped with incendiary bullets that can travel long distances and fire multiple shots rapidly. They either store these special explosive rounds in their waist packs or SPCS (IOTV for high-ranking mercenaries). The rifles resemble a Mauser Karabiner 98k but are reinforced with blue-grey adamant and feature an advanced scope that locks onto the nearest target.
Mercenaries serving as bomb experts are required to carry extra grenades, rolling bombs, and handheld rockets in their load-bearing backpacks.
Mercenaries serving as mortar troopers are required to wear bluish-black gas masks with green-tinted lenses, similar to those worn by Ptolemaic Army special forces operatives. They're tasked with bombarding oncoming enemies using chemical mortar shells that contain low levels of nuclear radiation and arsenic poison gas.
Mercenaries serving as bazooka-carriers are required to carry around an energy-blasting bazooka similar to the one used by the Future Bazooka Soldiers from Metal Slug 7/XX.
Mercenaries serving as the elite are required to wear tactical bodysuits made from heat-resistant, electric-resistant, waterproof, and bulletproof synthetic muscle tissue, similar to the DOLL bodysuit. Their bodysuits feature breast and standard cargo pants pockets, and they have a glossy dark purplish-blue finish. They easily neurally link to the wearers, granting them the strength and durability of an archdemon without inducing hunger, though they don't produce life-saving electrical pulses. They also wear E-Armour, but the articulated pads are in a bronze hue and the centre of the vest displays the Amadeus Syndicate insignia. They wear bluish-black US Navy MCU-2/P gas masks, silver-white gloves, and bronze-hued pelvic protectors that aren't overly pronounced. They wield AR-10 Autorifles, but the bullets are somewhat slow-moving.
Special Troops
Cyborg troops are meticulously designed to resemble the paramilitary Syndicate Infantry, Rebel soldiers, and Ptolemaic Army guerrillas and special forces operatives, including their uniforms and weaponry. They also have robotic versions of General Morden, Allen O'Neil, Lieutenant Wired, and Lieutenant Colonel Macba in their arsenal.
Hazmat soldiers wear the same orange and green suits as the enemies of the same name in Metal Slug 4, but their load-bearing backpacks are safety yellow and they feature the Amadeus Syndicate insignia emblazoned on the back of their helmets. The suits have bulletproof visors and protect them from all pathogens, toxic spills, acid exposure, and infections from zombies and mummies. Each load-bearing backpack features a sheath for combat knives on either strap and carries various supplies, including pineapple grenades, rolling bombs, smoke bombs, a portable scanner that detects and analyzes biohazards, canisters filled with cyanide gas, gas masks, and first aid kits. Green-suited hazmat soldiers carry purple rolling bombs containing mummification breath, while those in orange suits carry reddish-brown bombs filled with zomification goo.
Scientists
They're all required to wear professional clothing and the appropriate laboratory-suited PPE, but they typically don business attire in shades of brown and blue, white lab coats emblazoned with the Amadeus Syndicate logo on the back, and Argentine blue neoprene gloves. Meanwhile, the tactical scientists wear navy blue army cargo pants, field drab combat boots, and two black bandoliers—one holding piercing bullets and the other containing syringes filled with either simian or mantid serum, which can alter a human's cellular properties. They're also ordered to carry mutation rifles that are a blend of those wielded by Rebel Army riflemen and Ptolemaic Army snipers. These rifles are free from jamming and feature a blue-tinted silver scope that automatically locks onto any enemy target, providing information about their names, cellular structures, and vital signs. They can also fire piercing ammunition that's strong enough to penetrate adamant.

The Amadeus Syndicate developed two serums, simian and mantid, which alter the subject's physiology. Individuals with simian or mantid DNA retain their ability for human speech and cognitive function, but they often succumb to animalistic instincts, especially when confronted with perilous situations that trigger primal responses.
When injected with the simian serum, individuals transform into hairy creatures resembling orangutans or baboons, but with inhumanly muscular physiques, jutting veins, bloodshot eyes, yellowed carnivorous teeth, razor-sharp claws, unchanged hairstyles, and fur that mirrors their original hair colour. Those possessing simian DNA exhibit enhanced muscular strength and agility, increased bite force, accelerated healing processes, and heightened senses akin to those found in primates.
When injected with the mantid serum, individuals transform into creatures with iridescent exoskeletons in shades of green, brown, pink, yellow, orange, purple or pearlescent white. They possess dark or light opalescent wings, and the sickle-like claws of a Ninja Mantis, which can cut steel with ease. They also have crooked omnivorous teeth, eyes that retain their human hue, and hair-like follicles surrounding their joints and tegmina that match their original hair colour. Individuals with mantid DNA exhibit adaptive camouflage capabilities, superhuman flexibility, a bone-crushing grip force, the ability to move with minimal noise, lightning-fast reflexes, and enhanced eyesight that includes infrared vision and motion detection.
White Baby is a partially sentient artificial intelligence and computer virus capable of overriding the main military systems of countries around the world through the internet. Childlike in nature, it often constructs virtual stuffed animals to play with and is known to occasionally playfully disobey the commands of its Amadeus Syndicate coworkers. However, it becomes incredibly mature and ferocious during combat, employing every hacking trick at its disposal to thwart the enemy. Due to their inability to speak, they rely on text boxes that display lines of translatable code or words in any language they choose to communicate.
In its holographic form, when using a war machine that it has hacked into and which is owned by the Amadeus Syndicate, White Baby appears with the head of a young woman with pale white skin, glowing light red eyes, and the same hair as White Baby from Metal Slug Attack, all framed by a soft, emotionless expression. They stand at 7' 8" (233.68 cm) tall and wear a metallic blue bowtie neatly tied around their neck. Its entire body is enveloped in a neon green glow with golden floating particles. Their fingers and toes are freakishly slender, tipped with black bear-like claws. It wears an androgynous cybernetic suit made from metallic pink steel, designed with a sleek, armoured, and emaciated skeletal appearance. Sharp, spiky vertebrae run along its back from largest to smallest, while three partially curved spikes ascend along her outer thighs from smallest to largest. A small globe of Earth partially protrudes from the centre of its chest, while two pearlescent white dove wings with razor-sharp edges extend from the back of its shoulders, reaching down to its ankles.
In its on-screen form, White Baby appears as a teddy bear head with light red button eyes, a metallic pink nose, and white fur made up of vertical lines of 1s and 0s. Its head is partially ripped in half, revealing neon green stuffing with golden sparkles inside. It wears a metallic blue bowtie around its nonexistent neck.
White Baby has been programmed to infiltrate the Amadeus Syndicate's testing tubes, where specimens are safely housed and life forms, such as clones, are developed. It can create 12 ft (365.76 cm) sexless, embryonic humanoids with distinct features: pearlescent white skin stretched taut over their skeletal frames, bulbous craniums, large mouths filled with crooked, jutting carnivorous teeth, and oversized, jelly-like eyes with light red irises and amber pupils. Their elongated limbs end in slender fingers tipped with razor-sharp claws, while umbilical cords terminate in sea lamprey-like mouths. These cords enable the creatures to latch onto human hosts and transform them into the bomber or poisoner variants of Mutated Soldiers of their choice by injecting a viscous, honey-colored substance. The humanoids' vocalizations are limited to unsettling, fleshy sounds, violent gurgling, soft rasping, and ear-piercing baby shrieks. Strangely, they exhibit a maternal bond with Doctor Amadeus, responding to her presence as if she were their biological mother.
Cyborgs, also known as androids, are meticulously crafted, waterproof, fireproof duplicates of their human counterparts, containing their DNA and equipped with the latest digital consciousness uploads. Their synthetic skin, nearly indistinguishable from human flesh, is the weakest part of their design; with enough well-placed slashes, bullets, and bomb explosions, it can melt away, revealing their dark grey exoskeleton. Their skeletal structure consists of a copper-hued adamant, protected by a network of red, green, and silver-white wires that function as veins. These wires transport a black tar-like substance with a subtle neon greenish-yellow glow throughout their bodies, sustaining their electrical energy. Their organs are biomechanical yet carefully designed to replicate human organs in both form and function, ensuring optimal performance.
Powered Soldiers are a special type of cyborg, composed of regular humans who have received cybernetic enhancements from the Amadeus Syndicate, along with a strong hint of Tuatha Dé Danann genetics bioengineered from Marco's DNA samples. They possess roboticised, almost human voices and are programmed to strictly follow the orders of their superiors and comrades. However, they retain some degree of free will, allowing them to act independently without being overly reliant on their allies.
They resemble the Powered Rebel Soldiers from Metal Slug 3D, but with a few differences. Their eyes are usually a dull and slightly faded light sky blue, and the hexagon of pearlescent white adamant on their backs is attached to a dark greyish-brown industrial tube that can extend up to 2 ft (60.96 cm). This hexagon serves as a battery pack, filled with computer circuitry, discoloured circulatory and intestinal organs, and a cow's heart, all of which pump electricity and the same type of blood found in typical cyborgs. Rebel variants wear the same helmets, belts, and army cargo pants as other Rebel land troops with their attire varying depending on their deployment location. In contrast, Syndicate variants wear the same helmets, belts, and army cargo pants as the standard Syndicate troop uniform.
They're equipped with powerful, oversized cannon pistols that can fire three explosive bullets at a time, alongside data discs wrapped around the wrist of their dominant hand. Whenever their steel muscles ripple with power and their eyes glow a bright red, it indicates that they're in attack mode. Made from adamant, their bodies are incredibly durable, rendering most bladed weapons ineffective and requiring multiple bombs and bullets to weaken their armour. They also possess enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes, along with heightened predatory instincts. Their biggest weak points are their exposed faces and the industrial tube connecting their easily detachable hexagonal battery pack.
Amadeus Syndicate Base
The Amadeus Mainframe Base is a secret facility located in the mountainous regions of Oceania. The true entrance is located at the back corner of a mechanical and storage garage situated in a flat area at the centre of the base's surface. It resembles an abandoned warehouse that does not display their insignia, where their machines are securely stored and maintained. Supervisory Cameras are discreetly placed in hidden nooks both inside and outside the building. This building features the same elevator used to access the communications facility of the Amadeus Mainframe Base. The interior of the base closely resembles the environments seen in Metal Slug 4, including the entrance briefly shown in the final mission scene. The base has two exits, each leading to long vertical tunnels with numerous balconies that allow troops to engage any enemies that descend.
The base features multiple downward hallways that lead to various facilities and reactors located throughout the Amadeus Mainframe Base. There are twelve sublevels with the last six situated below the robot factory that produces multiple androids. The robot factory is located before the communications facility where the Amadeus Mother Computer is housed. Sublevels 6 and 5 contain machinery systems, sublevels 4 and 3 house computer systems, and sublevels 2 and 1 are dedicated to circuit board systems.
Sublevels 8 and 7 contain eighteen office areas, Doctor Amadeus' private office, six bathrooms, basic housing amenities for mercenaries and scientists, and a meeting and investigative room. Sublevels 10 and 9 house a large medical facility, an open theatre surgery room, and an asylum-like prison. Sublevels 12 and 11 feature a massive laboratory, several testing facilities that serve various purposes from cybernetics to virus creation, a computer systems room filled with testing tubes that store living specimens used to create lifeforms, and a large biobank filled with frozen samples and preservative jars. Below sublevels 12 and 11 is a hidden, heavily fortified basement containing cryogenic pods, preserved specimens, and unrepaired and unfinished cyborgs. It also contains several freezing modules filled with frozen blood samples, bioengineered diseases, and collected viruses as well as a storage room stocked with miscellaneous items such as clothes and extra weaponry.
Extra Information
Members of the Amadeus Syndicate are commonly referred to as "Syndis" or "Deos", terms that Doctor Amadeus finds intriguingly endearing.
The Syndicate Infantry consists of elite mercenaries hired by Doctor Amadeus to safeguard the interests of her organisation. Among them are skilled Rebels who have allied with the Amadeus Syndicate as well as Ikari Warriors mercenaries who betrayed Heidern to serve under Doctor Amadeus due to shared political and militaristic beliefs. Additionally, some members of the Syndicate Infantry are cyborgs created by scientists, operating under the control of White Baby's computer system.
Most scientists at the Amadeus Syndicate are freelance employees seeking stable, well-paying jobs that allow them to contribute to the advancement of science. While some pursue fame and fortune, hoping to gain recognition for their hard work, others have been coerced into their roles. These individuals, possessing exceptional scientific knowledge and investigative skills, have been kidnapped or taken captive. They're forced to defend the interests of the Amadeus Syndicate and conduct research that serves nefarious purposes.
Although a couple of their war machines are often mistaken for belonging to the Rebel Army due to their prominently displayed insignia, they actually belong to the Amadeus Syndicate. This is primarily a way for the Amadeus Syndicate to showcase their alliance with the Rebel Army, allowing them to use their technology freely to maintain friendly relations. The rights to the war machines displaying the Rebel Army's insignia are shared between the two organisations, granting both the legal right to utilise them as they see fit. This arrangement also provides a convenient cover for the Amadeus Syndicate, allowing them to use the Rebel Army as a false front when necessary, all under General Morden's approval.
In the former base of operations that the Rebel Army intended to fully utilise on the P.F. Squad training island, the Amadeus Syndicate established a dedicated rocket launch base, which Allen O'Neil, Rebel troops, and Syndicate mercenaries were tasked with guarding. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to make much use of it due to the unexpected resistance put up by the Regular Army cadets and Division 6 against both the Amadeus Syndicate and Rebel Army.
Some mercenaries and scientists are treated with professional respect and care, including decent pay. However, there are others who are either egregiously mistreated or treated properly, but not as well as the others.
Some tactical scientists are known to swing fiercely when meleeing an enemy with a syringe, which has led to incidents where they miss and accidentally stab and inject themselves, transforming into a simian or mantis creature.

CONFIDENTIAL REPORT
DRC, Intelligence Division, Rapid Response Command
To: Director [REDACTED]
From: Chief Operating Officer [REDACTED]
Date: [REDACTED]
Subject: Large-Scale Canadian Surrogate Conscription
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Following Operation Maple Harvest, the nation of Canada was successfully annexed into the greater continental American territory, and the Department of Reproductive Compliance (DRC) has significantly expanded its operational reach.
With the integration of former Canadian territories into our oversight, the agency has successfully implemented surrogate capture and processing programs at an unprecedented scale. Reports indicate that over [REDACTED] viable surrogates have been conscripted in the first [REDACTED] months of post-annexation governance, with projections suggesting an exponential increase in the coming year before stabilizing the following year.
This report provides an overview of tactical enforcement strategies, territorial control measures, and logistical efficiencies that have enabled mass conscription efforts in the former Canadian provinces.
I. STRATEGIC TERRITORIAL CONTROL
With the dissolution of the Canadian federal government, all former provinces and territories have been absorbed into the newly established FEMA Zone 13 (Western Canada), FEMA Zone 14 (Central Canada), and FEMA Zone 15 (Atlantic Canada).
Immediate DRC oversight has focused on establishing the following:
Cross-Border Tracking Systems: Utilizing existing intelligence networks to identify high-value surrogate candidates from former Canadian census records and healthcare databases. Special emphasis should be placed on former military personnel, athletes, [REDACTED], and blue-collar workers as the most fertile and rebellious groups.
Paternity Compound Development: The rapid repurposing of former military bases, university dormitories, and correctional facilities to house surrogates en masse, as they already have established barracks facilities.
Conscription Quotas & Enforcement: Coordinate with regional compliance officers to ensure capture rates meet federal reproductive mandates while assimilating the Canadian workforce into the DRC and normalizing surrogacy conscription.
II. MASS SURROGATE CONSCRIPTION OPERATIONS
The newly annexed Canadian territories have provided an unparalleled expansion of surrogate stock, primarily due to the favorable demographic conditions of the population. Initial surveys indicate that:
[REDACTED]% of identified surrogates are of prime fertility age (18-25).
[REDACTED]% of captured surrogates display favorable genetic markers, exceeding standard thresholds.
KEY CONSCRIPTION STRATEGIES
University Raids: Focused efforts on collegiate sports teams have yielded a [REDACTED]% success rate in acquiring prime surrogates while reducing the number of educated dissenters.
Nighttime Extraction Teams: The deployment of low-profile, plain-clothes retrieval units has resulted in the seamless collection of over [REDACTED] surrogates per week without significant public resistance.
Border Detainment Facilities: The closure of major highways and railway hubs has effectively trapped fleeing candidates, ensuring no viable surrogates escape the zone.
Employment-Based Luring Programs: Former Canadian job assistance programs have been repurposed as recruitment traps, attracting young men under the guise of “Federal Relocation Initiatives.”
III. KEY INCIDENT REPORTS
Case Study #1: Mass Athletic Securing Operation
At 02:15, a DRC enforcement unit conducted a conscription raid at the University of [REDACTED]'s athletic dormitories. Surveillance data confirmed that [REDACTED] athletes met the biological and age criteria for surrogate eligibility.
Outcome:
All surrogates were secured and inseminated on-site, with only minor resistance and injury.
Post-capture ultrasounds confirmed exceptionally high fetal loads, with three surrogates being flagged to be carrying octodecuplets (18).
Notably, members of the track and field teams averaged higher fetal loads (15-18 babies) than their peers on football, hockey, and basketball teams (12-16 babies).
"I thought being an athlete was supposed to make things easier… but it just made me a better surrogacy candidate. I'm so huge with these babies I can't even stand up, let alone run. My belly’s enormous, and it's like I'm being stretched tighter every hour. It's humiliating. I'm completely immobilized, pinned down by my own pregnancy, helpless, and at their mercy. No one warned me it would feel this intense." - Surrogate SC003-182-O
Case Study #2: Highway Roundup Operation
In coordination with the new administration for FEMA Zone 14, roadblocks were established on Trans-Canada and Perimeter Highways. Over [REDACTED] young men attempting to flee westward were intercepted.
Outcome:
[REDACTED] individuals identified as prime surrogate candidates were detained, dosed with high-potency aphrodisacs, inseminated, and transferred to the newly opened Paternity Compound C-005, formerly the Canadian Museum for [REDACTED].
Non-fertile individuals who aided or participated in the attempted escape were transferred to local law enforcement for detainment. As the Canadian legal system is suspended until a new regional administration is appointed, individuals are redirected to work programs supporting the expansion of Paternity Compound C-005.
Detainment and insemination on the highway allowed for new surrogates to be rapidly transported to nearby facilities.
"We thought we could make it out, but they had every route blocked—now I'm stuck here, pregnant with so many babies I lost count. I’m so enormous I haven't moved from this bed in days; just breathing makes me dizzy, and every kick sends shivers through me. The officers who caught us said we'd serve as 'examples,' and now I get why—my body's not even mine anymore, swelling bigger by the hour." - Surrogate SC002-105-M
Case Study #3: "Warehouse Party" Capture Operation
At 19:42, local security forces uncovered a "warehouse party" inside a former natatorium complex (i.e. community swimming pool) in downtown Montreal. Surveillance drones detected over [REDACTED] conscription-eligible men in attendance.
Outcome:
Under Emergency Security Powers [REDACTED], the crowd was detained without apparent escapes.
Emptied swimming pools were convenient hold areas while local law enforcement screened candidates for fertility or detainment.
[REDACTED] surrogates secured and inseminated within 30 minutes. The highest single mass insemination in the last [REDACTED], second only to the New Philadelphia incident where [REDACTED] candidates were inseminated.
Post-capture ultrasounds confirmed exceptionally high fetal loads. One surrogate, SC004-118-V, was flagged to be carrying duovigintuplets (22).
"We were just having a good time, you know? Then suddenly, we're herded into an empty pool like cattle, tested, and next thing I know, I'm more pregnant than I ever thought possible… I never knew anyone could grow this fast! My belly's so enormous I'm stuck here, and every time the babies kick...I can't stop thinking about how much bigger I'm still gonna get." - Surrogate SC005-111-N
Case Study #4: Public Birth Demonstration
On [REDACTED], intelligence units intercepted communications indicating that former municipal leader Mr. [REDACTED], residing within FEMA Zone 14 (Central Canada), attempted to incite rebellion against newly established governance.
Outcome:
Immediate apprehension of Mr. [REDACTED] and the conscription of [REDACTED], his 19-year-old son, Surrogate ID: SC06-202-Q.
SC06-202-Q was inseminated and confirmed to be pregnant with septendecuplets (17), an exceptionally high fetal load, resulting in rapid physical changes and eventual immobilization.
The surrogate reached a final pregnancy weight of 527 lbs (239 kg), rendering him completely immobile and dependent on medical staff for all movement and care.
Public Demonstration:
Scheduled the surrogate’s delivery as a mandatory public event in a local open-air square, attended by the local population, and broadcast on all local channels. Mr. [REDACTED] was restrained in a front-row seat with an unobscured view of the event.
The surrogate publicly induced and entered active labor at precisely 14:00, with all 17 fetuses delivered successfully over 4 hours.
Crowd reactions ranged from shock and discomfort to subdued apathy, effectively curtailing further open resistance in the region.
"They forced us all out there to watch—it was… I can’t describe what it was. The surrogate was massive, all you could see were his splayed legs and gigantic womb. I've never seen anything like it… he was groaning and shaking the whole time, his belly so big I swore it was gonna burst. Every time another baby came out, he let out these noises—it was like he couldn't even tell where he was anymore. Honestly, I couldn't look away, as shocking as it was." — [REDACTED], Local Resident
IV. FUTURE EXPANSION & PROJECTED OUTCOMES
The annexation of Canada has significantly exceeded expectations, proving to be one of the most fertile territories available for surrogate conscription. Future efforts will focus on the following:
Paternity Compound Expansion: Construction of five new high-capacity compounds in [REDACTED], Ottawa, and [REDACTED] City.
Mobile Paternity Units: Deployment of MPUs to secure and inseminate hard-to-reach rural populations.
Mass Public Compliance Initiatives: Implement “Surrogacy Service Announcements” and “Volunteer Reproductive Compliance” programs to normalize forced conscription within newly annexed regions.
Cross-Border Transfer Policies: [REDACTED]% Canadian surrogates to be transferred across the border to ensure their security as local seditious groups are eliminated.
CONCLUSION
The annexation of Canada represents a historic victory for the Department of Reproductive Compliance, ensuring a massive influx of high-value surrogates into North American breeding programs. While some initial resistance has been recorded, ongoing security operations confirm that disruptions to insemination activities are minimal, and the number of pregnant Canadian men continues to increase dramatically.

Years after “The Collapse”—a catastrophic event triggered by an elite adult villain —the world is no longer divided by age but by access, power, and survival. The KND base remains intact, but its mission changed. They evolved into a form of governance, prioritizing order and stability but becoming cold, bureaucratic, and elitist. Think of a "New KND Order." Outside of this protected zone, chaos rules. Resources are scarce. People fend for themselves. There are pockets of rebellion, scavengers, and corrupted factions. Mutated creatures and malfunctioning 2x4 tech patrol abandoned zones like ghosts of a lost era.
FACTIONS IN THE NEW WORLD - Prt. 1
The Iron Clad (Formerly the Kids Next Door)
Also Known As: The Citadel, Sector Zero, The Dominion, The Five-Star Command
Motto (Propaganda): "For the Future of Childhood."
True Motto (Whispered in the Shadows): "Only the strong survive."
Overview: The once-global Kids Next Door, a vibrant organization dedicated to childhood liberation, has been twisted into the Iron Clad – a ruthless, militarized government forged in the fires of the Fusion invasions. The joyous chaos of the Moonbase is a forgotten memory, replaced by the Citadel, a monolithic city-state that claws into the Arctic wastes, built upon the bones of a fallen KND outpost.
Leadership:
Supreme Commander Rachel McKenzie (Numbuh 362) – The Unyielding Shepherd
Descirption: Gone is the spirited diplomat. Rachel now reigns with glacial efficiency, her gaze as sharp as arctic winds. She justifies her iron grip as the necessary cost of protecting what little remains of childhood, yet only those children deemed valuable, through skill or unwavering loyalty – find sanctuary beneath her banner. Her rule, she insists, is a harsh mercy compared to the savagery beyond the Citadel walls. Her inner circle comprises the reshaped remnants of Sector V and the chillingly obedient Teen Operatives.
Structure:
Central Command (Sector Zero): The Obsidian Heart: From here, intelligence is weaponized, raids are orchestrated with brutal precision, dissent is crushed by relentless law enforcement, and young minds are molded through rigid indoctrination.
The Peacekeepers: The Steel Sentinels: Elite KND soldiers, clad in salvaged and terrifyingly advanced gear, patrol the Citadel's fortified borders and the fragile outposts beyond. Their presence is a constant reminder of the Commander's reach.
The Re-Education Initiative: The Silent Classrooms: Children deemed "unfit" – the disobedient, the weak, the questioning – are vanished into these facilities. What emerges, if anything, is a blank slate or a chilling example.
Recruitment Rings: The Culling Fields: In carefully selected settlements, gifted children are identified and groomed from their earliest years. Those who meet the Dominion's demanding standards are absorbed into the KND system; the failures simply disappear into the unforgiving landscape.
Territories Controlled:
The Iron Clad dominion is absolute, a sprawling and meticulously controlled territory built upon the remnants of the old world. At its unyielding heart stands The Citadel, an imposing, multi-tiered fortress constructed from reinforced steel and salvaged pre-Collapse architecture, casting a perpetual shadow over the surrounding Capital Sector. This central bastion is not merely a city but a complex of research facilities, training academies, and Rachel McKenzie's personal command center, from which her tyrannical directives emanate. Surrounding the Citadel is an intricate network of satellite fortresses, like the formidable Bastion Prime guarding the northern approaches and the coastal Ironclad Keep overlooking the ravaged shorelines, each projecting the KND's unyielding authority far and wide. Beyon these central strongholds, the Iron Clad maintains an iron grip on the vital arteries of the shattered civilization. They control all essential trade routes, from the heavily patrolled Supply Lines of the Midwest—vast, reclaimed highways connecting key resource nodes—to the secured Coastal Convoys that ferry goods across the treacherous seas. Their immense salvaged tech repositories, such as the hidden vaults beneath the former Kids Next Door Moonbase, house the advanced weaponry, surveillance systems, and mind-altering technologies that keep their regime in power. Furthermore, their heavily guarded agricultural zones, like the sprawling hydroponic farms of The Greenbelt Enclosures in what was once fertile farmland, secure their food supply, ensuring sustained control over the population. Scattered throughout their domain are precarious "safe havens," former civilian settlements now repurposed as heavily monitored outposts, such as Re-Education Annex Gamma or the Loyalty Checkpoint Delta. These outposts, often built within the husks of old schools or abandoned malls, serve as points of forced indoctrination and resource collection, their gates open only to those who prove their unwavering worth and absolute loyalty to the Iron Cradle.
Public Image:
Within the Citadel: The Gilded Cage: nside the towering walls, children are raised on the gospel of Rachel McKenzie, the savior who pulled the world back from the brink. Life is regimented – mandatory education, meager but consistent rations, and strictly controlled amusements. This manufactured order comes at the price of autonomy, every moment shadowed by surveillance. Propaganda is a suffocating presence, from colossal murals and daily broadcasts echoing the Commander's pronouncements to insidious incentive programs that turn children into informants against their peers.
Outside the Citadel: The Scarred Earth: Beyond the fortified zones, among the mercenaries, rebels, and solitary teens, the KND is a venomous entity – a corrupt elite that hoards safety for the chosen few. Whispers of the Wallhound (Wally) and Ghostwire (Maurice), former KND heroes now branded enemies, fuel both resistance and terror. In the desolate wastelands, chilling tales circulate among raiders and scavengers – stories of abandoned settlements, summary executions of defiant teens, and the brutal abduction of children in the name of order.
Technology & Weapons:
The modern KND wields a terrifying fusion of nostalgic 2x4 tech and brutal, cutting-edge weaponry. The whimsical inventions of the past have been twisted into instruments of oppression. Hunter drones, armed with repurposed Goop Guns now used for live captures, patrol the skies. Modified Mega-Magnifying Monocles pierce through disguises and scan for forbidden items, while sleek Laser-Lipstick Blasters are the deadly signature of elite operatives. Lumbering Grimm-powered mechs, relics of forgotten battles, now serve as mobile enforcers in the Citadel's tightly controlled streets. Border patrols thunder across the wastes in upgraded S.C.A.M.P.E.R.s, equipped with crackling electromagnetic net launchers and stealth plating, while heavily armed hovercrafts, powered by volatile C.A.K.E. technology, dominate the no-fly zones. Towering propaganda spires, built from repurposed 2x4 AM/FM Sonic Blasters, saturate the airwaves with state-approved messaging, drowning out rebel signals and broadcasting the omnipresent voice of Rachel McKenzie. Even the dreaded Decommissioning Helmet has returned – refined, portable, and now used in brutal field interrogations to forcibly excise memories of dissent. Within KND territory, once-defensive Book Dump Blasters and Splanker cannons stand as menacing monuments – stark reminders of the price of defiance against the so-called protectors of the future.
Notable Figures in the Post-KND World:
Rachel McKenzie (Numbuh 362) – The Commander, the Shepherd of Iron: Revered in every classroom, etched on every mural, her voice a constant presence in every broadcast – the savior who dragged childhood from the abyss. Beneath the savior's mask lies a leader of chilling calculation, valuing order above all else. Rebellion is a contagion to be purged without hesitation.
Nigel Uno (Numbuh 1) – The Lost Ace, the Vanished Star: Once the brightest hope of the KND, Nigel vanished into the cosmic void with the Galactic division. Officially: Missing in action. Unofficially: His name is a forbidden whisper within the Citadel. Rumors persist – has he evolved beyond their comprehension? Is he a silent guardian watching from afar? Or perhaps, chillingly, hidden in plain sight?
Franny Fullbright – The Voice of the Future, the Architect of Lies: Former Head of Decommissioning, now the polished mouthpiece of KND propaganda. Her honeyed words fill the KidSignal broadcasts, extolling the virtues of obedience and demonizing dissent. The fire in her eyes has been replaced by a practiced gleam. Did she trade her principles for power, or is her compliance a carefully constructed facade?
Patterson – The Architect of Iron, the Weaver of Control: The twisted genius behind the militarization of 2x4 Tech. As Chief Scientist of KND Enforcement, he oversees the omnipresent surveillance grids, the deadly laser drone swarms, and the brutal weaponization of S.C.A.M.P.E.R.s. Whispers in the shadows suggest he has planted insidious failsafes within every elite operative – a contingency for any hint of betrayal.
The Rogue & The Lost:
Maurice – Ghostwire, the Shadow Broker: Ex-KND operative, once a trusted liaison between the Kids and Teens Next Door, now a phantom agent walking both sides of the conflict. He sabotages KND tech with surgical precision while feeding vital intelligence to the rebellion. A traitor in the eyes of the Citadel, a fragile hope to the resistance. Is he playing a dangerous game of balance, or simply trying to atone for a broken past?
Wallabee Beetles (Numbuh 4) – Hellhound, the Wasteland Terror: A brutal myth stalking the ruins. Captured by Cree's Raiders, broken, and then forged into a weapon. He emerged from the darkness a force of nature, riding a mutated beast, armed for apocalypse. Neither rebel nor raider, he adheres to a savage code of his own. They call him "The Little Terrier of the World," but those who underestimate him rarely live to tell the tale.
Kuki Sanban (Numbuh 3) – Green Gale, the Whispering Healer: A rogue medic and ethereal scout. She drifts through hostile territories alongside Wallhound, tending to the innocent and gathering crucial intelligence for those she deems worthy. Beneath her gentle demeanor lies the keen perception of a trained operative. Legend has it she once disarmed an entire war party with a single, softly spoken word.
Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr. (Numbuh 2) – The Junkrat King, the Merchant of Mayhem: A neutral arms dealer and ingenious scrap engineer. His flying black market, The Boomhatch, is a chaotic hub where tech, sustenance, and secrets are traded freely. His laughter echoes like a sputtering engine, his appetite is legendary, and his neutrality is absolute – until crossed. His cobbled-together creations have the power to level settlements.
Abigail Lincoln (Numbuh 5) – Rebel Tooth, the Unbroken Will: The unwavering leader of the Broken Tooth Rebellion. Once a top KND field operative, now a hunted enemy of the state for daring to protect children from their own protectors. Her sharp mind and tactical brilliance fuel the resistance. The cracked molar she wears is a potent symbol of the rot she fights to excise from the heart of the Iron Cradle
Enemies of the State:
The Iron Cradle brands any faction outside its control as a cancer on the "future of kids." These enemies range from savage raider warbands to tenacious rebel cells and disillusioned rogue agents – all blamed for shattering the fragile peace. Though their motivations differ, they are united by a single, burning desire: to dismantle the regime built by Rachel McKenzie.
The Raider Clans (Cree’s Crew): The Serpent's Coil: Led by the infamous Queen Coil (Cree Lincoln), these nomadic raiders are a fractured but lethal network, preying on KND convoys and liberating child laborers from the Dominion's grasp. They move through the wastes in cobbled-together war machines, driven by a fierce loyalty to the forgotten. The KND labels them anarchists; Cree's crew sees themselves as the only shield against a system that betrayed them.
Ghostwire (Maurice): The Phantom Broker: A wraith moving between two worlds, Ghostwire is a former KND tactician who now bleeds the Dominion from within. Officially declared deceased, he feeds vital intelligence to the growing rebellion, a master of sabotage and infiltration. His intimate knowledge of the KND's workings makes him both invaluable and a constant threat. Is he a long-game strategist or a broken man seeking redemption?
Hellhound (Wally): The Untamed Fury: A legend forged in captivity, Wally was broken and reforged into a weapon by the Raider Clans before reclaiming his savage autonomy. He now roams the ruins, a solitary force of nature, feared by both the KND and the raiders. Whispers claim he single-handedly decimated KND outposts; others dismiss him as a phantom. Regardless, the name Hellhound carries the weight of brutal retribution.
The Broken Tooth Rebellion (Abby’s Group): The Grinding Resistance: Founded by the resolute Abby Lincoln (Numbuh 5), this well-organized rebellion fights to expose the Iron Cradle's corruption and liberate all children, not just the privileged few. Their symbol, a fractured molar, represents the decay within the once-pure system. Abby's ranks include former operatives, courageous civilians, and even ghosts from the Re-Education Initiative.
Adult Villains (The Lingering Shadows): Though many fell during the original KND conflicts, some adult villains clawed their way through the collapse. Now, they haunt the fringes of civilization – some forming uneasy alliances with rebel teens, others carving out their own brutal fiefdoms in the lawless territories. Broken but still dangerous, figures like Father, Knightbrace, and Stickybeard are unpredictable wild cards in the post-KND landscape.
Faction Comparison:
Fallout’s NCR: A bloated bureaucracy, crumbling from within, its ideals choked by corruption.
The Last Of Us’s FEDRA: A starkly utilitarian regime, crushing individual liberty under the heel of enforced order.

APPEARANCE
By the national average, Lilja is a rather short woman who stands at around 166 cm tall. She is slim and athletic, with messy blonde hair, freckles scattered across her cheeks and nose, and eyes with partial heterochromia on both irises that are both blue and brown in color, which are easily distinguishable between the two. She is the one who usually wears heavy, long clothes that are uncomfortable when it comes to grabbing objects and that hide her body well. She wears glasses because she is astigmatic, which she removes to use contact lenses when she has to work in the field. more facts about her aspect: -Lilja has a lot of bite wounds on her body, done of course by the dogs she worked in the past with most of them being reactive ones that easily snapped when something even small bothered them. The most visible one is on her left cheek that resembles a two cut done by a feline instead of a dog and people usually asks her how could a dog do such damage; -She always wanted a tattoo on her left cheek that resembled a dog jaw but changed her mind when she wasn't allowed to do so in the army. -She doesn't hide her body due to insecurity, in fact, she also can wear swimming costumes and bikinis, she just prefers baggy clothes over normal ones.

-Food: Lihapullat (finnish meatballs)
-Drink: Hot chocolate
-Song: Killer by Mareux
-Flower: Lilly of the valley
-Hairstyle: wolfcut Moral alignment: Chaotic good MBTI: INTP Personality overview:
Lilja is a reserved woman by nature, she doesn't like to talk to people too much and generally prefers to be alone. Sometimes she seems detached and lost in her thoughts, it almost seems like her brain is constantly working, constantly creating new thoughts. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as she always has new ideas that she can implement in the form of robotic objects useful to her team. She seems to prefer small speeches to long, deep ones, which is often not in good taste with other operators and those in command, but she often ignore the thoughts of others. This doesn't mean she's a totally insensitive person, she just doesn't know how to relate to people without seeming weird, which leads her to avoid social situations most of the time.
